FBI Couldn’t Get into WaPo Reporter’s iPhone Because It Had Lockdown Mode Enabled

The FBI searched a Washington Post reporter's home (with a warrant) but was unable to access the reporter's phone because it was in Lockdown Mode. Stories like this show that these tools are effective, so if you're an Apple user be sure to enable Lockdown Mode on any devices that support it. The story also says that the FBI was able to access Signal messages on her unlocked Mac device, so remember to use features like ephemeral messaging and be mindful of weak points like the far end or unlocked devices.
