Dartmouth College Confirms Data Breach
Dartmouth, a private Ivy League university in New England, has disclosed a data breach.
In a letter filed with the Maine Attorney General's office, Dartmouth disclosed that the data of just shy of 1,500 individuals was impacted via an exploited zero day in Oracle's E-Business Suite. Bleeping Computer speculates the final tally could be much larger as Dartmouth hasn't finished notifying all the relevant authorities.
Details are scant at this time about exactly what data was compromised, but it appears to include at very least name and financial account information.
